I began my wellness journey 20 years ago when I decided to donate a kidney, which led to adopting a healthy lifestyle. Through a friendship with a trainer, I gained valuable insights into fitness and business. I trained for a figure competition but had to pause due to brain surgery. After recovery, I won two gold medals in a powerlifting meet.
However, challenges continued. A seizure caused me to lose my driver's license and job, leading to depression and anxiety. During this time, I struggled with menopause symptoms like weight gain, exhaustion, and night sweats, which were overlooked by healthcare professionals. This experience sparked my passion to advocate for women's health, particularly menopause, which is often misunderstood.
